JOB DESCRIPTION

We’re on the lookout for a reliable and enthusiastic Electrical Project Manager to join our dynamic team. A key player in our most interesting sustainability projects, you will be responsible for delivering projects to timescale and budget. We're seeking an individual with a solid understanding of electrical services and a proven track record in managing contracts ranging from £20k to £1 million.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Project manage electrical projects ensuring they are completed within the required timescale and to budget

  • Manage supervisors, plumbers, pipefitters, labourers, apprentices & sub-contractors.

  • Purchase materials and sub-contractors 

  • Liaise with project & site teams to control & review all contract work

  • Prepare estimates for future works.

  • Ensure Health & Safety and QA compliance is maintained at all times 

  • Respond to customer enquiries 

  • Manage contact variations and monthly applications.

  • Ensure projects are completed within the required timescale and on budget.

 

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Demonstrable experience in a similar role (3 years + preferred)

  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office especially Outlook, Word and Excel

  • Experience working with contracts between £20,000 and £1 million

  • A good understanding of electrical services or equivalent

  • NVQ level 3 in Heating and Ventilation (Gas systems)

  • ECS Management Card

  • SMSTS
