We’re looking for a Labour Allocator to join our helpdesk team based at our Head Office in Essex. In this role you will provide comprehensive administrative support, ensuring the seamless delivery of planned and remedial maintenance tasks nationwide. A great team player with excellent customer services skills you will ensure all enquiries are dealt with efficiently and effectively.

  • Plan and assign work to engineers using our in-house system and client portals ensuring compliance with contractual response times 

  • Receive incoming calls and assist with client requests and updates 

  • Assign specialist subcontractors to deliver works where required 

  • Liaise with clients to schedule works and ensure adherence to required procedures, including arranging/submitting permits to work 

  • Order materials and obtain proof of delivery 

  • Monitor and process paperwork supplied by engineers, ensuring remedial works are processed 

  • Upload work completion sheets and reports to our in-house system and client portals, updating records where necessary 



  • The ability to plan and prioritise, resolve issues and meet targets and deadlines

  • Good written and spoken communication skills

  • A good team player with the ability to demonstrate excellent customer care skills.

  • Good IT skills (Excel / PDF are a must)
