SEE Reaffirms it's Constructionline credentials

Press Release - Nov 2020

SEE Services is pleased to confirm that it has been re-accredited at both Silver and Gold levels by recognised industry compliance platform Constructionline. This continuation of accreditation assures that SEE’s customers can rely on a top-quality service, whilst at the same time it provides the company with the opportunity to access a wide range of procurement contracts and projects.

Constructionline’s accreditation process is based on PAS 91, a standardised pre-qualification questionnaire developed by the British Standards Institute (BSI), commissioned by the Government. Providing a recommended common minimum standard for construction procurement, it reduces the need for suppliers to complete a variety of questionnaires for different - and in some cases the same - clients and helps buyers identify suitably qualified contractors.

Constructionline’s Silver verification is applied following a series of successful validation checks where companies have demonstrated compliance with the criteria set-out in the process. This means customers can be confident of the supplier they are dealing with and it enables contractors to pursue a series of live project and tender opportunities that may not otherwise be accessible.

Gold verification further extends the benefits with the application of the Common Assessment Standard, a new initiative championed by Build UK and the Civil Engineering Association (CECA). The standard is overseen by an interim cross-industry body consisting of experts from organisations within the sector, including public and private sector clients, contractors and trade associations.

This higher level of membership includes further validation checks that assess a company’s credentials for environmental management, quality management, equal opportunities, modern slavery act adherence and anti-bribery and corruption policies. Furthermore, all Gold members are health and safety assessed with an SSIP (Safety Schemes in Procurement) scheme that provides evidence of competence in health and safety management.
