Position:   Contracts Manager

Location:  Hainault - Essex

Salary:     £45,000 per annum

SEE Services is currently seeking a Contracts Manager to join our head office team located in Hainault, Essex. 


Role summary:

  • Responsible for the contract management of the staff, operation and maintenance of electrical and mechanical plants/services, project works and Building performance.

  • Daily management of the Engineering team. 

  • To complete the weekly operations report to the client and attend weekly operations meeting, client meetings as requested, in conjunction with the client.

  • Ensure that all matters that may impact the smooth running of the building and facilities are immediately reported to both SEE and the contracts Senior Management.

  • To conduct regular reviews of operating procedures making recommendations for improvement with appropriate working practices and emergency/contingency procedures within the critical systems.

  • Liaise and keep informed both the client and the SEE Area Manager on all aspects of contract problems (defects & deficiencies).

  • To ensure that all staff within their control are conversant with the operation and control of critical and non-critical systems installed within the portfolio.

  • To ensure quality is maintained throughout the facilities.

  • Ensuring business policies and processes are effectively communicated, and implemented within the contract.

  • Ensure optimum staffing structures operate across contracts, balancing cost reduction with the delivery of service excellence.

  • Working with other Operations Managers to ensure the collaborative development of the business, effective team working, and support to colleagues.

  • Development of contract financial plans for revenue and profit delivery, reduction of WIP, debt, cost reduction and contract growth, and ensure that these are met and exceeded.

  • Ensure appropriate control systems to ensure statutory, policy and contractual commitments are met.

  • Ensuring a customer focus within all areas of operational activities, and that effective relationships are maintained with key client contacts.

  • Provision of leadership and guidance, advice, coaching and direct support, where required to deliver best practice selection, training, assessment and recognition/reward.
     

Experience Required:

  • Experience in Building Services industry.

  • Quoting new works and costing reactive works 

  • Updating client systems

  • Ordering materials 

  • Completed recognised formal Electrical or Mechanical training to at least city and Guilds level, preferably ONC/HNC or Higher.

  • Strong communication skills. Ability to lead, motivate and direct a team of technicians/operatives.

  • Possess an understanding of Health and Safety issues, NEBOSH / IOSH, or equivalent formal training would be desirable.

  • Conversant with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).

  • A good level of English and Mathematics required.

  • Strong organisational and communication skills with the ability to prioritise workloads.

  • Ability to work under pressure whilst remaining calm, clear thinking and able to deliver the required services to the client within given time constraints.
     

Position:   Mechanical Project Manager

Location:  Hainault - Essex

Salary:     £50,000 - £55,000 per annum

An exclusive opportunity has arisen for an Mechanical Project Manager to join SEE, providing mechanical services across multiple sectors.  The ideal candidate will manage and co-ordinate all aspects of the design, procurement, installation, and commissioning of projects assigned to them, ensuring that high quality, compliant installations are delivered  in a manner consistent with the company's contract management system.  They will also further establish and maintain positive and effective relationships with customers and supply chain.

Position:   Health & Safety Manager

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a pragmatic, hands on Health and Safety Director to join a leading FM and Infrastructure Service Company, operating across the UK. The ideal candidate will have a strong Rail, Electrical and Mechanical knowledge. The successful applicant will be joining a motivated and experienced Management Team and will be tasked with developing and implementing the company’s Health and Safety strategy across the business and will sit with the SMT (Senior Management Team) and have regular interaction with Board Level. The person we are looking for will have, drive, energy and passion as well as strategic insight, business and customer focus and exceptional leadership skills.
 

The Role:
 

  • Maintenance and continuous developing of the ISO management systems and accreditations. 

  • Work closely with the Senior Leadership Team to develop and deliver the health & safety strategy.

  • Build relationships with key stakeholders within the organisation. 

  • Monitoring and reviewing health & safety trends to identify areas of improvement. 

  • Develop and improve Health & Safety culture across the organisation.

  • Develop Training needs and develop programmes and deliver.

The Candidate:
 

  • NEBOSH Diploma, NVQ L6

  • Minimum, Chartered Membership of IOSH (CMIOSH) and a relevant degree level qualification 

  • 5 years + Previous experience working in a strategic position within Health & Safety. 

  • Experience of influencing senior stakeholders and Board Level 

  • Experience working in a FM and Infrastructure sector Knowledge of CDM is essential

Position:   Mechanical & Electrical Mobile Operative

Location:  Wembley & Surrounding Areas

Salary:     £32,000 per annum

SEE Services are currently seeking a Mechanical / Electrical Mobile Operative to cover a wide range of weekly / monthly PPM activity across four healthcare sites. Duties will range from basic Mechanical & Electrical PPM’s such as water flushing, A/C filter changes, RCD tests & weekly fire alarm tests to name a few.

You will be responsible for day to day general building fabric maintenance as well as be expected to build a good working relationship with site staff to assists them in reporting site defects.

Duty will also include hosting & inducting sub-contractors onto sites and making sure that work is carried out safely and in a timely manner.

The ideal candidate will have experience in maintaining static sites with a flexible approach to maintenance with a wide range of discipline experience.

Position:   Plumber/Multi-Trader

Location:  Covering the M25 and surrounding areas

We are currently recruiting for a Plumber who is very confident within performing other trades apart from plumbing, such as tiling, plastering and carpentry covering the M25 area and surrounding areas.

 

This is a reactive maintenance role. Ideally the right candidate for this position will need to have worked in an environment covering reactive and planned maintenance jobs.

Position:   18th Edition Mobile Electricians

Location:  West Yorkshire

Salary:     Negotiable

SEE Services are currently seeking Mobile Electricians to work around West Yorkshire to service our clients.  It is essential that candidates have 18th Edition, 2391 (testing) and an ECS Card.  

Work will be varied from re-lamping, fault finding, installation of Consumer Units, socket replacements etc..  Fire alarm, CCTV and door entry key pad experience would be an advantage.  You will ideally have a min of 2 years extensive experience in all of the above and happy to travel.

In turn we supply a signed written company van, PPE, uniform, fuel card, ladders, android tablet (used for receiving jobs, updating, work sheets etc.. and as a phone), drill and tester.
