Position:   18th Edition Electricians

Location:  Various - Suffolk, Sheffield & Newcastle

Salary:     Negotiable

SEE are currently looking to recruit 18th edition electrcians in the Suffolk, Sheffield and Newcastle areas.  The successful candidates will be required to attend PPM and emergency call outs, both within and out of normal working hours.


Role Summary:

 

Work will be varied from re-lamping, fault finding, installation of consumer units, socket replacements etc..  Fire alarm, CCTV and door entry key pad experience would also be an advantage.  You will ideally have a minimum of 2 years extensive experience in all of the above and will be happy to travel.  In turn SEE will supply a signed written company van, PPE, uniform, fuel card, ladders, android tablet (used for receiving jobs, updating, work sheets etc.. and as a phone), drill and tester.

Key Skills:

 

  • C&G 2391 Inspection and Testing (essential).

  • NVQ Level 3 electrician or equivalent (essential).

  • ECS Card (essential)

  • Essential full clean driving licence is required

Position:   Contracts Manager

Location:  Hainault - Essex

Salary:     £45,000 per annum

SEE Services is currently seeking a Contracts Manager to join our head office team located in Hainault, Essex. 


Role summary:

  • Responsible for the contract management of the staff, operation and maintenance of electrical and mechanical plants/services, project works and Building performance.

  • Daily management of the Engineering team. 

  • To complete the weekly operations report to the client and attend weekly operations meeting, client meetings as requested, in conjunction with the client.

  • Ensure that all matters that may impact the smooth running of the building and facilities are immediately reported to both SEE and the contracts Senior Management.

  • To conduct regular reviews of operating procedures making recommendations for improvement with appropriate working practices and emergency/contingency procedures within the critical systems.

  • Liaise and keep informed both the client and the SEE Area Manager on all aspects of contract problems (defects & deficiencies).

  • To ensure that all staff within their control are conversant with the operation and control of critical and non-critical systems installed within the portfolio.

  • To ensure quality is maintained throughout the facilities.

  • Ensuring business policies and processes are effectively communicated, and implemented within the contract.

  • Ensure optimum staffing structures operate across contracts, balancing cost reduction with the delivery of service excellence.

  • Working with other Operations Managers to ensure the collaborative development of the business, effective team working, and support to colleagues.

  • Development of contract financial plans for revenue and profit delivery, reduction of WIP, debt, cost reduction and contract growth, and ensure that these are met and exceeded.

  • Ensure appropriate control systems to ensure statutory, policy and contractual commitments are met.

  • Ensuring a customer focus within all areas of operational activities, and that effective relationships are maintained with key client contacts.

  • Provision of leadership and guidance, advice, coaching and direct support, where required to deliver best practice selection, training, assessment and recognition/reward.
     

Experience Required:

  • Experience in Building Services industry.

  • Quoting new works and costing reactive works 

  • Updating client systems

  • Ordering materials 

  • Completed recognised formal Electrical or Mechanical training to at least city and Guilds level, preferably ONC/HNC or Higher.

  • Strong communication skills. Ability to lead, motivate and direct a team of technicians/operatives.

  • Possess an understanding of Health and Safety issues, NEBOSH / IOSH, or equivalent formal training would be desirable.

  • Conversant with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).

  • A good level of English and Mathematics required.

  • Strong organisational and communication skills with the ability to prioritise workloads.

  • Ability to work under pressure whilst remaining calm, clear thinking and able to deliver the required services to the client within given time constraints.

Position:   Mechanical Project Manager

Location:  Hainault - Essex

Salary:     £50,000 - £55,000 per annum

An exclusive opportunity has arisen for an Mechanical Project Manager to join SEE, providing mechanical services across multiple sectors.  The ideal candidate will manage and co-ordinate all aspects of the design, procurement, installation, and commissioning of projects assigned to them, ensuring that high quality, compliant installations are delivered  in a manner consistent with the company's contract management system.  They will also further establish and maintain positive and effective relationships with customers and supply chain.


Key Skills Required:

  • Relevant qualification 

  • Mechanical Project Management Experience 

  • H&S Awareness

  • Ability to quote/estimate small to medium size project (range £1,000 - £200,000)

  • SMSTS 

  • Must be computer literate to include MS Outlook, Word and Excel

  • Excellent communication skills

  • Strong management skills

  • Ensure all projects are delivered on time and within budget

  • Ability to start immediately or within a month maximum
